Big Daddy Gore Decades ago when I was a youth group kid, EXTOL were one of my favorite bands. I have listened to UNDECEIVED and BURIAL more times than I can count. This debut from FLESHKILLER feels like I'm listening to a brand new EXTOL album in the vein of those 2. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

quantumgreg Reminds me very much of the progressive technical thrash style of Extol complete with beautiful vocal harmonies that instantly transform to black metal screams. Very good stuff! Favorite track: Window Of Time.

Founded by Ole Børud, Fleshkiller saw the light of day as a result of Extol’s return to hiatus after their last album in 2013. Børud continues his journey exploring the progressive sides of death metal with his brand-new band Fleshkiller. Reuniting with his former band mate Peter Dalbakk from their early 90´s melodic death metal act Schaliach.

Such a solid and unique offering thats been on repeat since purchased. Dark and pummeling with moments of light. Not a bad track on this album.
